The air is much cooler, we're craving all things pumpkin spice and peppermint, and the red and yellow leaves have been crunching underneath our suede booties that we've finally pulled out from the backs of our closets. It's the coziest season! A season of warm scarves and hot coffee, yummy food and family & friends. It's a season that many people like to take to reflect on what they are grateful for, and we'd like to use this little space of the internet to share our own thoughts.

The leaves are changing and autumn has arrived. October has been great for us. We recently finished up two weddings. We find that bright yellow sunflowers are very trendy for fall weddings, but can be used in different ways, as were in these two weddings. One wedding went with more traditional fall colors: deep reds, oranges, and yellows. The other went for more of a wild flower look with purples, blues, oranges, yellows, & whites. It just shows how using a common flower, such as the sunflower, can still end with two different bouquets. We love how both turned out!
Last Minute Bride
We were contacted late Monday night by a friend-of-the-bride about the possibility of putting together a couple bouquets for a wedding the following Saturday. That's right, the wedding was six days away! Confident in our abilities to create the bride's vision in such a short time frame, we agreed enthusiastically and got to work. This bride had lovely taste and was incredibly flexible with us while we hunted down the perfect shade of rose for her bouquet. We are always grateful for brides who are willing to trust our suggestions. In the end, this last minute bride got exactly what she wanted, and we were so happy to service her! Congratulations to Chelsie and Drew!
