Giving Thanks

The air is much cooler, we're craving all things pumpkin spice and peppermint, and the red and yellow leaves have been crunching underneath our suede booties that we've finally pulled out from the backs of our closets. It's the coziest season! A season of warm scarves and hot coffee, yummy food and family & friends. It's a season that many people like to take to reflect on what they are grateful for, and we'd like to use this little space of the internet to share our own thoughts.

I am thankful for so many things this year. I am of course thankful for my two daughters, who always keep me on my toes. They teach me so many things everyday and I feel so very loved having them in my life.

I am thankful for my wonderful husband, who helps keep me sane and is always so supportive. I’m not sure how I would get by without him. He is a truly amazing father, who is adored by his girls, and I love him endlessly.

I am also so thankful for having this incredible opportunity to start a business with one of my best friends. She helped me to find the courage to take this leap of faith, to follow my passion, and I am so thankful she is on this adventure along side me.

I am thankful for my brothers, sisters, and parents. I have a crazy big family, but I can’t imagine what my life would be like without them.

I am so thankful for all of the people who have supported and guided me, this year especially. I don’t always know where this crazy life is going to lead me, but I know with the great group of people around me, I can do anything.

Happy Thanksgiving!

~Melissa

First and foremost, I’m thankful that summer is over! I know, I’m crazy, but this cooler weather makes me such a happy lady.

I’m forever grateful for my family who cheers me on and is always on my side. I’d be lost without them, afraid to follow any of my dreams. I’m thankful for my wonderful friends who love me beyond measure and are always there for me no matter what. I’m also crazy thankful for my kitties, Bruce and Barnaby, and their endless furry cuddles.

This year I’m so happy that I get to add my handsome boyfriend to my list of things I’m thankful for. He pushes me to be my best and makes me feel special even when I don’t see my worth. I’m so thankful for his love and willingness to put up with my nonsense.

I would be remiss if I didn’t tell you all how thankful I am for you, our supporters. This business woulnd’t be prospering or even possible without you. Beyond that, I’m so grateful that I get to learn and grow in this new venture with one of my best friends, Melissa. I couldn’t have asked for a better friend to partner with.

Last, but not least, I’m thankful for my health, peppermint mochas, and NYX’s liquid lipstick (I just discovered this, and it makes me feel fabulous).

Here’s to a wonderful Thanksgiving!
